Family Session : Norris Family

Jeannie is a friend from my weekly Wednesday networking group. She's an amazing mother and after scheduling and rescheduling and rescheduling, we finally found a time that worked great for everybody! It was super quick too, all they wanted was ONE photo! (A quick snap of the reunion of the siblings and then it was time for the big family portrait!)
We met up in downtown Grapevine, all the holiday lights were up and it was perfect. This family knew just want to do as well! They were perfect! I just had to wait for the arch hallway of lights to all light up at the same time to capture the perfect family portrait. Seriously, I'm a little jealous!

Merry Christmas to the Norris family and to all those reading my blog! Now that the holidays are over, I can share all the awesome family portraits I've been taking that were reserved for Christmas cards!

Business Portraits

Business Portraits are just as important as a well written resume. Toady business leaders do not want to just see a name, they also want to see a face. Customers want to relate to the people they buy from or hire and work with. With business portraits you can advertise your business and yourself. Promotional material, websites, blogs, and anything you put your name on, you should also be putting your face on.

DO NOT use Facebook as a source for your Professional Portrait! Do not use your cell phone's camera while you are sitting in the car - at least take the seat belt off before you take the picture.

Here are the "before" photos I pulled from their websites with my "after" portraits of the professionals who have let me get my camera on them.

Business Portraits : Feel Good Therapy

Feel Good Therapy is a traveling massage, chair and table massage and also has their own location in Arlington, Texas.
Honestly, I've been trying to write a review for them that reflects how AMAZING they are! Angela and Ty are true masters of comfort and relaxation. Their knowledge of reflexology, their professionalism, and their comfortable presence makes them my new go-to for my massage needs!
I had never had a hot stone massage before but it exceeded my expectations! I had no idea the hot stones were actually used as part of the massage to work through the tense areas of the body. The heat allows for a deeper massage that is NOT painful at all but very relaxing.
And if you have never had a 4 hands massage....you need to. I am forever ruined!!!!!

Also, thank you to Mylie who had to endure modeling for these masseuses. Haha!

Hot stones of multiple sizes to work different areas of the body.

Mini Session : P at the Lake

My daughter, Paige, is pretty much the coolest person to hang out with. I love rediscovering the world with her. She seriously shines a new light on everything again!
She and I spent an afternoon at Lake Grapevine at Rockledge Park, which was a pretty cool place to check out on a beautiful day! We also had ourselves a picnic there. Mmm snacks!
While we played, Paige discovered mud, rocks, and waves and LOVES each and every one of them!

Newborn Session : Bradley (5 Days)

Little baby B was such a toot to work with! Literally! He made sure I had extra laundry to do after his photo session! (I didn't mind at all. Being a mama myself, I'm pretty used to weird and dirty things from a baby).
I was able to get lots of cuddles with this sweet boy and boy was he snuggly! It was difficult not to fall in love.
Brooke, your son is so precious and I pray you the best with your family!

Family Session : The Curfman Family

Congratulations to the Curfman family! With the help of Brooke's support of my photography, my Facebook Page made it to 300 likes and in a random drawing for such a momentous occasion, I drew her name! She made mention she had never had family portraits done of her family and I was so excited to give her the opportunity!  I had so much fun with Brooke and her coordinated family! You all were amazing to spend time with and I'm so happy to have met you all.

Portrait Session : The Little Mermaid

Lauren McCall, the bubbly and whimsical mastermind of Celebrate with a Princess, is the girl you want to invite at your next birthday party, especially if you're 5-8 years old! She truly captures the entire look and feel of a Disney Princess!

I am so excited I got to work with the Little Mermaid, Ariel. We went out to Lake Grapevine at sunrise and it could not have been more perfect! There was a cool breeze, the water was perfect and the LIGHT was PERFECT! I am so in love with how this entire session turned out! I honestly do not have a favorite from this photoshoot because they ALL are my favorite!

Lauren currently portrays Rapunzel and Ariel and will be adding to her Disney Princess list soon with her costume designer, Judith Larson of Sew What?!  Both of these ladies are amazing at what they do!

You can read more about Lauren on the UT-Arlington's The Shorthorn Newspaper here.
